Outreach and Volunteer Service

Episcopal Senior Communities’ Life Care residents contribute literally thousands of hours of volunteer service each year. Some of this tremendous volunteerism is focused within the Life Care communities, with residents staffing the community shops, delivering mail to those who are ill, reading to residents in the skilled nursing facility, or serving on any number of resident committees—all helping the community flourish.

Many other life-long volunteers continue their work in the greater community, or find new interests, and contribute significant efforts to help individuals and organizations such as:

  • Monterey Bay Aquarium
  • Natural History Museum
  • St. Vincent de Paul’s
  • Fioli national Trust for Historic Preservation
  • American Cancer Society
  • St Anthony’s Dining Hall
  • Oakland Museum
  • Point Lobos
  • Alta Bates Thrift Shop
  • San Francisco Symphony
  • Pacific Grove Butterfly Sanctuary
  • Kaiser Hospital
  • League of Women’s Voters
  • The Redding Elementary School
  • Santa Rosa Literacy League
  • Family House
  • Stagebridge
  • Marine Sanctuary
  • Alzheimer’s Association
  • Museum of Modern Art
  • Volunteer or Donate Today!
